The CGPM is a mutual insurance company whose purpose is
- to provide a death benefit in the event of the death of a full member,
- to provide financial assistance as provided for by the Internal Relief Fund,
- to enable full and honorary members to benefit from the advantages of the Luxembourg mutual insurance system by allowing them to join the Caisse Médico-Complémentaire Mutualiste (CMCM)
- to contribute to the implementation of new mutual aid initiatives.
