Internal Assistance Fund

Real support when healthcare expenses start to pile up

Several physiotherapy sessions adding up.
New glasses or a new frame to finance.
Dental treatments that are often unexpected.
Necessary medical transport, without hesitation.
Or simply the arrival of a child.

These are not exceptional situations.
They are moments of everyday life.
And they all come with a cost.

The CGPM Internal Assistance Fund (FSI) was designed exactly for that: to provide additional financial support when healthcare expenses accumulate, reduce the pressure of unexpected costs and allow members to access the care they need without having to give up.

Concretely, what is the FSI used for?

The FSI does not replace CNS reimbursements: it complements them.
It can represent several hundred euros reimbursed throughout the year.
Concrete support when expenses accumulate.

🩺 For healthcare expenses

The Internal Assistance Fund allows:

  • 30% reimbursement of medical expenses
  • up to an annual ceiling of €2,904.12

Once the annual amount of medical expenses on CNS statements reaches €338.81, the FSI reimburses 30% of the remaining balance at your expense.

Eligible expenses include:

  • glasses and lenses
  • dental care
  • hearing aids
  • wigs
  • other eligible medical costs

👉 Physiotherapy sessions are reimbursed at 30% with no minimum threshold.

🚑 In case of ambulance transport

For your journeys within Luxembourg or abroad, CGPM reimburses 100% of the remaining balance from the very first euro, up to €580.82 per member and per year.

Because in case of necessary medical transport, cost should never be an obstacle.

👶 At birth

Per member parent, an allowance of €387.27 is paid for a birth or adoption.

If both parents are members, the allowance is paid to each of them.

It also applies in the event of a stillbirth, in accordance with the regulations.

How far can the support go?

The annual ceiling of the Internal Assistance Fund is €2,904.12 per member and per year.

A significant level of support for an annual contribution starting from €29.05 depending on age.

The FSI does not cover everything. It truly helps ease the burden when healthcare expenses accumulate.

Who can benefit from it?

Every member registered with CGPM for at least 2 years, as well as their insured dependent children.
